Fashion Tag!

Just wanted to do a fashion tag for fun!! Blogging is all about yourself and your life so here's a little bit about me... Some of my friends don't know these things, so it's like a top secret little scoop :) \

What is your favourite fashion accessory?

Favourite? Sunglasses. Easily. I love when summer rolls around and I can hide behind my huge white sunglasses.

Wait.

I love charm bracelets, too. So I guess sunglasses for summer and charm bracelets for winter... I just think a little charm bracelet can help that outfit that much more.

Who's your fashion role model? (In real life and YouTube/Blogging)

I admire many people's fashion. I am such a preppy person, that I love that sophisticated - put - together look that seems like you thought about your outfit, but didn't obsess over it. Know what I mean? Probably not, but I really like bright colorful outfits because I am a student and school can get so boring.
Wow, totally forgot this question. Hmm... I admire Blair and Elle's styles on youtube, frmheadtotoe.com Jen's style (she's so petite, like me, but she finds clothes for amazing prices and that look fantastic!) and so many other people's styles... I'm kind of wishy washy about this question, so .... NEXTT!!

What do you always carry with you?

Cellphone... Well... Mine broke, so I preordered my torch blackberry!! I have to wait another week but that's another angry story I will tell another time.

Lipgloss... I love lipgloss, because you could be going au naturale, but lipgloss can give your face that pop of color that just makes it look better.

What would you describe your style as?

I'm super preppy, like I said before and I go to a middle school/ highschool. If you are my age then you know how important what you wear is, and if your not, then think back a little. I usually follow the trends but I do add my own accessories and spin, because some trends are a little boring. I usually do look more dressed up then everyone else, but I dont see anything wrong with that!!

Favourite: jeans, sunglasses or heels?

Jeans. LOVE THEM TO DEATH. They make the outfit a little bit casual, but not as casual as sweat pants. What doesn't go with a good pair of jeans?

Sunglasses: My first love. Stayed up all night? Throw some sunglasses on and your good. Sunglass really change what you look like... So they are amazing for outside... But make sure to look good when the sunglasses come off, too!!

Heels: Loved them since I was little. Back then i had my mini little heels though, but now, I'm in school and heels don't go well. Next year, def. heels will be worn. But for this year it's a little over the top.... But I do wear them occasionally.... Yes i am full of contradictions!!

What inspired you to blog about fashion?

I love fashion. Wearable fashion, that is. Runways and sometimes haute couture just throw me off. You look and have to do a double take and think "why are you wearing that?". Well i really needed a place to just let things get off my chest, because I am way too emotional for my own good, but I also needed something fun to do when I got home and had to destress. I was going to write a diary, but a diary is so easily found, whereas a blog, the whole world can read it, but you can make it the most vague thing in the world and no one will ever know. Another thing that I am inspired by, is all the gurus out there! I love reading their blogs, and usually fall asleep reading or watching youtube!!

What is your favourite fashion store/shop?

I love Aritzia, the most designer thing we have here, which is sad. But i love that store, and lululemon, although more workout, have some really nice things which I wear quite a lot. I shop at places like forever 21 and dynamite, too, when i get the time.

But i do have a favourite little boutique and it's called Frakas. I was making fun of it, then looked inside and was amazed! I love the stuff they have there, and they are pretty decently priced.

What is your favourite fabric in clothing?

I'm a sucker for the big and fluffy. I love jackets that look amazing but feel like heaven on the inside.

Who is your favourite designer?

I don't really have a favourite designer! I am too young, and I can't spend the thousands it takes to by designer.

Who/what inspires your style?

I don't really know. I think other people I see inspire me. I wear what looks chic, without looking outrageous. I have always had this 6th sense for what goes together (sometimes more intense then others) and what doesn't and I pick what looks good on me.

What would you choose to do - buy something in high quality or make it yourself if you could?

I have made things by myself, but the things is, it takes a lot of time and effort. You feel very proud after, but in this world we are so materialistic and want things right away, that I would buy something high quality. It better be amazing fit to me and look fabulous though!!
